Simplygon 9 finally available for free users
Simplygon's mission is to enable game creators to realize their visions, through better optimization of 3D content. With game creators, we mean ALL game creators, from large AAA studio to a small ambitious indie studio or individual game developers.
It has been almost 9 months since we launched the major Simplygon 9 release where we streamlined the workflow and developed an integrated Simplygon UI within your favorite content creation tools and game engines.
We have now delivered upon the ambitious plan of making our powerful optimization toolset available to you via native integrations, with user-friendly UIs, in Max, Maya, Blender, Houdini, UE4 and Unity.
In parallel, we have improved the optimization tech with a brand-new impostor processor that can be used for vegetation and thin-object optimizations and upgraded the remesher to produce even better-looking proxy objects at lower polygon count and texture usage.
Starting from today, it is not only accessible to our customers, but also to everyone in the free user community!
We believe you will find Simplygon 9 version very useful on your journey to create awesome 3D games and we are looking forward to hearing your feedback!
